Week of April 30th
Good Afternoon Pugh Tribe!
I hope you all have a had a wonderful Tuesday. We are jumping right into a review of equivalent fractions during math as well as a review of Subtraction and Addition within 1,000. I had the students solve a few problems as review and I would like for them to complete the math homework due Friday for extra practice. Here are two videos for extra guided practice.

Our Librarian allowed our class to come in on Monday to make one final checkout for library books. I am allowing the students to keep them in their desk and read throughout the day. They are all due by this Friday to the Learning Commons. However, since we will be on our field trip, I have told the class to bring them in on Thursday so we can go ahead and turn them in before the field trip. Parents, if you could please make sure that your student has not left one at home, I would greatly appreciate the support with the library books. Speaking of books, we will be going through our school book shop again tomorrow to pick out a few more books that are on our lexile range to bring home and KEEP. You heard me right, each student will get to build their home library with a few more books.
This Friday, we will be going on a STEM day field trip to Baker Elementary to participate in different STEM activities. I am very excited that all students have returned their permission slips and will be able to come at NO COST on Friday!!!
A note went home in agendas today about our End of Year Party. We will be having our party on Tuesday, May 15th at 12:40. Please make sure to check your students agenda for more information about treats and beverages.
As always, if you ever have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me at katherine.pugh@cobbk12.org.
Have a wonderful week enjoying the beautiful weather!
-Ms. Pugh
