Week of October 15th

Good Afternoon Pugh Tribe! I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful Monday. Here is an outline of the week for the Pugh Tribe. Math: We will continue to review the arrays strategy for solving multiplication problems. I showed the students a learn zillion video to review this strategy. This will lead into the opportunity to read both fiction chapter books and nonfiction texts during our independent reading time in class. Open House

Welcome Back Acworth Families!       I am looking forward to what this year has in store for the Pugh Tribe. I want to introduce myself to all of the new third grade families, my name is Katherine Pugh. It is my third year teaching here and I am so excited to be a part of the warrior family. This blog will be updated every Monday that we are in school and I encourage you to take a few minutes to read through the information highlighted for the week. This year, I will be utilizing Class Tag to communicate with our wonderful families. This is a new method of communication for me so I will be sending home more information by Friday on how to get it all setup and how it all works. Progress Reports

Good Morning Pugh Tribe! Progress Reports are going home today with your student. They need to be returned to school with your student on Monday. I have provided an incentive of 5 class dojo points for each student that returns it on Monday! I am also sending home the 2nd quarter homework packets. These are yours to keep at home. From here on, the homework packets will have a pastel green parent signature page. We changed the color for the 3rd quarter so that we could send home the 2nd quarter packets for you to keep.
