Week of March 12th

Good Afternoon Pugh Tribe!

This week we will be discussing how we can compare and contrast text to text to support our understanding of the themes in stories. This will be our focus all week. There will be reading homework in your students take home folder as well as logging their reading in their agendas.

For math, we will be reviewing time and focusing on using multiplication and division to solve for the unknown numbers. During our math time, I will also be reviewing area and perimeter based on the performance and feedback I got from the students through last weeks homework. The students have been given a math homework sheet for this week.

Exciting update!

We are so excited for our next field trip! April 27th, we will be going to Etowah Indian Mounds.
For this field trip, we are requesting cash donations of $11 per student.  Please send in the exact amount, as change cannot be given.  Unfortunately, we cannot accept cards or checks and we will not need volunteers or chaperones for this trip.
We will collect money the week before break, March 26th to March 30th, and the week after, April 9th to April 14th.
Permission slip will come home March 23rd with an envelope.  We appreciate your support more than you know!  Our kiddos LOVE field trips and we are thankful for these opportunities!

As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me!

Have a wonderful week!!!

~Ms. Pugh
