Week of March 19th
Good Morning Pugh Tribe!
We are off to a great start in our week. Students will be bringing home both Math homework and Reading homework for the week. Parents, please make sure to remind your student to put it in their backpack every night so that they do not forget it at home.
For Math and Reading this week, we are diving into our test prep activities. We will be continuing to practice our current standards as well as the standards previously taught in Quarter 1, 2, and 3.
Report cards will be going home this Wednesday. Parents, please make sure you take your copy out of the envelope and keep the copy at home. The only thing that needs to be returned to school is the signed envelope.
Your student will also be bringing home a Gimme 5 flyer and envelope in their take home folder. This is our big fundraiser to help support projects and buy different supplies that our school needs. Here is a link to the online donation page.
This week, we will also be sending home a letter on Wednesday to inform you of the dates we will be taking the Milestones. There will also be an opportunity for you to fill out a baseball and send back to school for your student to read before testing begins. This will be in the flyer for you to read on Wednesday.
Yearbook pictures are this Thursday! I had a few parents ask about sending in money for the pictures. I asked our Parent Coordinator and she said that you can attach the money to the bottom portion of the flyer. She wanted me to remind you all that it is CASH ONLY.
One more thing, Acworth Elementary is starting a new program that will kick off this Friday for ALL dads and male role models. I have attached the flyer that was also sent home last week.
