Week of September 10th

Hello Pugh Tribe!

Hope everyone had a restful weekend. We are excited to get started with our learning this week.

Math: This week, we will be applying our understanding of the Addition and Subtraction Operations to word problems. This will be the focus for the entire week and gradually applying real life situations to using these two operations.

Reading: We are finishing up Parts of Stories, Dramas, and Poems. Thursday, we will be moving into comprehension using reading passages. So I want to encourage every student to be reading at least 15 minutes each night and logging their reading in their agenda.

Picture Day: Picture Day is this Wednesday the 12th!!!! Make sure you mark this on your calendar and dress your best for pictures!

IOWA Testing: The Pugh Tribe did a FANTASTIC job during the CogAT testing last week. The focus and patience during the testing days were very impressive. Let's try and achieve that same work ethic this Thursday and Friday during the IOWA testing! Please make sure your student gets plenty of rest the night before and is present and on time for these testing days.

I believe that covers our week. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me.

Have a Marvelous Monday,

Ms. Pugh
