Week of January 21st

Good Afternoon Pugh Tribe! I hope you all had a wonderful MLK Jr. Day yesterday. Here is a brief look into what we will be learning this week as well as some exciting news about a FIELD TRIP. Math: We are moving on from fractions on a number line to equivalent fractions. We have been referring back to our fraction strips in class to compare equivalent fractions. They have been doing a great job in our first day on this standard and we will continue to build on this standard throughout the rest of the week. Reading: We are moving on from focusing on the main character in our stories to a secondary character in the story and how they help to build onto the story. Field Trip: Exciting news... we have finally announced our field trip for this year. We will be going to the Etowah Indian Mounds on March 1st. Permission Slips with all of the information is being sent home today along with the envelope for field trip money. Don't forget it is CASH ONLY. Please complete both piece
