Good Morning Pugh Tribe! Happy Warm-Hearted Wednesday ! We have had a very busy week so I apologize for just now posting. Here is a look at the rest of the week. Math: We have been continuing our unit on area. We will be practicing through tomorrow and assessing on Friday to show our understanding of area and how we use dimensions to solve for area. Reading: Today and through the rest of the week, we will be looking at comparing and contrasting topics in a nonfiction text to show our understanding of the text. Spelling: We have new spelling words that are in your student's agenda. I want to encourage them to practice these common high frequency words and be ready to test on Friday. Weekly Work Packets: **Please pay very close attention to this section. I sent home a weekly work packet yesterday. Please review their work with them and sign and return no later than tomorrow. Good Morning Pugh Tribe! I hope you all had a restful Winter Break. We had a great first day back yesterday! Here is a look into what is happening in the Pugh Tribe this week. Math: We were introduced to line plots yesterday and will continue line plots through most of the week. Good Evening Pugh Tribe! This week we will be focusing on fractions represented on a number line. I have attached a learnzillion video that will provide a few more examples that relate to the standard that is being taught. Our spelling test will be on Friday morning so make sure your student is practicing these words and including the apostrophe. Homework packets were distributed today for students to bring home to show you their hard work. If you could please sign the packet and return to school that would be much appreciated.
