Week of February 25th

Good Morning Pugh Tribe! I hope you all had a restful Winter Break. We had a great first day back yesterday! Here is a look into what is happening in the Pugh Tribe this week. Math: We were introduced to line plots yesterday and will continue line plots through most of the week. Week of October 15th

Good Afternoon Pugh Tribe! I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful Monday. Here is an outline of the week for the Pugh Tribe. Math: We will continue to review the arrays strategy for solving multiplication problems. I showed the students a learn zillion video to review this strategy. This will lead into the opportunity to read both fiction chapter books and nonfiction texts during our independent reading time in class. Week of November 12th

Good Morning Pugh Tribe! Happy Warm-Hearted Wednesday ! We have had a very busy week so I apologize for just now posting. Here is a look at the rest of the week. Math: We have been continuing our unit on area. We will be practicing through tomorrow and assessing on Friday to show our understanding of area and how we use dimensions to solve for area. Reading: Today and through the rest of the week, we will be looking at comparing and contrasting topics in a nonfiction text to show our understanding of the text. Spelling: We have new spelling words that are in your student's agenda. I want to encourage them to practice these common high frequency words and be ready to test on Friday. Weekly Work Packets:  **Please pay very close attention to this section.  I sent home a weekly work packet yesterday. Please review their work with them and sign and return no later than tomorrow.
