Week of August 12th

Happy Monday Pugh Tribe!

We have been learning so much today and I look forward to all that we will achieve this week. Here is a look into what we will be doing in the Pugh Tribe this week.

Agendas: We will be receiving actual agendas in the beginning of September. For the time being, there is a paper calendar to be filled out everyday. Please make sure you see the color they are on that coordinates with the behavior chart, initial next to the color, and record how many minutes your student read on the total line.

Math: This week, we are learning about addition within 1,000 using strategies such as Partial Sums and Number Line. Here are two LearnZillion videos that show you how to complete the strategies for extra practice.

Reading: This week we are setting up our GOOD reading habits and finding books that are just right for our reading level.

Homework: This week, the students are responsible for solving their math problem every night and bringing it to school completed every morning. Please make sure your student solves the problem in pencil and writes a complete sentence answering the question/problem.

Good Morning Pugh Tribe! Happy Warm-Hearted Wednesday ! We have had a very busy week so I apologize for just now posting. Here is a look at the rest of the week. Math: We have been continuing our unit on area. We will be practicing through tomorrow and assessing on Friday to show our understanding of area and how we use dimensions to solve for area. Week of February 25th

Good Morning Pugh Tribe! I hope you all had a restful Winter Break. We had a great first day back yesterday! Here is a look into what is happening in the Pugh Tribe this week. Math: We were introduced to line plots yesterday and will continue line plots through most of the week. Week of January 29th

Good Evening Pugh Tribe! This week we will be focusing on fractions represented on a number line. I have attached a learnzillion video that will provide a few more examples that relate to the standard that is being taught. Homework packets were distributed today for students to bring home to show you their hard work. If you could please sign the packet and return to school that would be much appreciated.
