Week of October 13th

Happy Monday Pugh Tribe!

Hope you all had a restful weekend. Please be on the lookout for a reminder from ClassTag for our parent-teacher conference date and time. I look forward to great conversations with each and every one of you. Here is a look into the week.

Early Release: Monday - Friday will be early release. We will be out at 12:30. Please plan accordingly.

Math: We will be continuing word problems this week. Students will be using what they know of multiplication and division to solve different word problems. Here is an example of what we will be doing in the classroom this week.

Reading: This week we will begin looking at informational texts to ask and answer questions. We will also look at determining the main idea or message that the author wants us to understand as we read.

Attendance: Just a friendly reminder that after three absences without a note, I have to contact home to talk about your student's absences. We have a lot to learn this year and even missing a couple hours will be hard to makeup. Please make sure your student is present and on-time everyday.

Good Morning Pugh Tribe! Happy Warm-Hearted Wednesday ! We have had a very busy week so I apologize for just now posting. Here is a look at the rest of the week. Math: We have been continuing our unit on area. We will be practicing through tomorrow and assessing on Friday to show our understanding of area and how we use dimensions to solve for area. Week of February 25th

Good Morning Pugh Tribe! I hope you all had a restful Winter Break. We had a great first day back yesterday! Here is a look into what is happening in the Pugh Tribe this week. Math: We were introduced to line plots yesterday and will continue line plots through most of the week. Week of January 29th

Good Evening Pugh Tribe! This week we will be focusing on fractions represented on a number line. I have attached a learnzillion video that will provide a few more examples that relate to the standard that is being taught. Homework packets were distributed today for students to bring home to show you their hard work. If you could please sign the packet and return to school that would be much appreciated.
