Week of October 21st

Happy Wednesday Pugh Tribe!

We have had a very busy week so far in the Pugh Tribe. Here is a look into what we are learning and what will be happening next week at Acworth Elementary.

Math: We are learning the distributive property of multiplication this week. Here is a link to a video that we have used in class as an introduction.

Red Ribbon Week: A note will be going home in your student's agenda with the themes for each day. Thursday is Book Character Day! This is not a Halloween celebration, students may dress up as a storybook character but no props are allowed to be brought in for this day. A flyer went home last week with this information.

Weekly Work Packets: I try my best to have everything checked or graded by Wednesday afternoon. However, depending on the week, there might not be enough work to send home. This week, there will be a Weekly Work Packet sent home. Please keep the work and send back the yellow slip signed.

Good Morning Pugh Tribe! Happy Warm-Hearted Wednesday ! We have had a very busy week so I apologize for just now posting. Here is a look at the rest of the week. Math: We have been continuing our unit on area. We will be practicing through tomorrow and assessing on Friday to show our understanding of area and how we use dimensions to solve for area. Week of February 25th

Good Morning Pugh Tribe! I hope you all had a restful Winter Break. We had a great first day back yesterday! Here is a look into what is happening in the Pugh Tribe this week. Math: We were introduced to line plots yesterday and will continue line plots through most of the week. Week of January 29th

Good Evening Pugh Tribe! This week we will be focusing on fractions represented on a number line. I have attached a learnzillion video that will provide a few more examples that relate to the standard that is being taught. Homework packets were distributed today for students to bring home to show you their hard work. If you could please sign the packet and return to school that would be much appreciated.
